The time of the notes - music

Before start the flags the time of the notes are beats:

whole - 4 beats

half - 2 beats

quarter - 1 beat; - you count one, or is the normal velocity of heat the key

The flags the time is subdivisions one flag in the stem half of the beat, two flags half of the half...

When you play the notes until you are in the quarter you count the beats one - qurter; one,two - half; one two, three, four - whole. 

But when you are in the flags that are subdivisions you don't count you have speed, so when you are playing and the music piece have the eighth(quaver) you play with speed and not counting, is very happy you use more than a finger so you gonna speed in the fingers that play the quaver and return to time with the other fingers.

Also is usefull, when the time is faster some play is the finger running in the keyboard.

Also is good to know dedilhar that is your fingers have memory, so you play because you trainned and you just tap in a routine that you fingers remember.
