Can you think that have persons that have code but doesn't know, why a code will works like sometimes you need to install an program that run it, so the person write perfect codes are just text in the 'word' in the 'notepad'! So is that if you write codes you studie JavaSCript the code will work if in the time that you save you chose save as HTML because that is the document and inside that you gonna run the JS. So your text document are sayYa.txt you gonna save as sayYa.html.
But if you study something like Java you gonna have to install program to code in java, java have owner that is the sun the oracle, but you can use and nd you only pay if you make many with it but have an amoun that of so low they doesn't charge.
How we use an JS after tyou save your doc you gonna open directly and the doc.html will open in the browser in others words will gonna open like an internet page, but of course that have only in your computer to be in the internet you have to have an host in the internet.
