One important thing about percentages is that by adding 8% and subtracting 8% we don't get back to the initial value of 100, I like to use 100% which means 1 in the sense of integer, so 1 means that I have the integer of that, 100+8%=108 - 8%= 99.36 I used 100 so you can be sure that I convert it without loss to 99.36% and multiply that by any value like I was calculating for 36 reais so 36 * 99.36% = 35.7696.
