Think to much to resolve a very easy question is don't be very certain of the simple mathematics facts

 Had things that are kind syntomatic, like fever is flu, so over thinking is had doubt, is don't know how to resolve, don't be certain of easy things, sometimes the question is easy and not a trap, so the answer is syntom.

There are 45 animals in a pet shop, including cats and dogs. It is known that the ratio of dogs to cats is 5/4. You can conclude that the number of dogs and the number of cats are, respectively,

A) 27 e 18.

B) 26 e 19.

C) 25 e 20.

D) 24 e 21.

E) 23 e 22.

if d/c = 5/4, why over think I just gonna passes the cats for the other side of the equality and have :

d = c*5/4(1eq); d + c = 45(2eq); replacing d in the equation 2: 5c/4+c = 45 -> 9c/4 = 45 ->c = 20; 

in classroom I find a inovating way the professor sai to me do in the 2nd equation the replacement but I show to him was easier replace in the 1st equation so: d = 20*5/4 -> d = 25.

See is so simple you don't have to say that all the dogs and cats are 5/9 an 4/9 this is don't see the simplicity of what is a horse on the top of a hypopotamus, and is all.
