When the chocolate reach the Americas made in France, for an instance, the validity was kind passed sometime because was an operation in country of origin and an importation in USA.
And the cocoa is in the validity and the chocolate is made in the day the validity is the day of the manufacturing.
And the packing ins't because wasn't in English but because the travel the package came jagged, and rain could make the chocolate spoiled, water came inside the ship... And the seeds would be treat this would not spoil the cocoa in seed, if the chocolate spoilt the loss will be for who? Probably the buyer the USA, transport chocolates bars with all the care how expensive wouldn't be?
